To enhance the safety and accountability of our services, our officers can be equipped with body cameras, providing an additional layer of security for both the people we protect and our staff. This technology supports transparent interactions and helps mitigate risks in challenging situations.

To ensure we maintain the highest standards, all our officers undergo a rigorous selection process, including two-stage face-to-face interviews, vetting, and screening. They are fully trained and assessed in the workplace to ensure they meet the demands of the role.

At Specialist Security, we directly employ all officers delivering our services. We do not outsource labour or supply officers to other security companies, ensuring consistency, reliability, and a commitment to quality in everything we do.

Our officers working in public places are carefully selected and developed for their role. In shopping centres, bus stations, and universities, our officers are recognised as part of the community.

Specialist Security also integrates advanced technological solutions to enhance safety and security. We provide licensed CCTV operatives trained in public space surveillance, ensuring constant monitoring of key areas. Our use of drones can add an additional layer of coverage, offering a flexible and effective approach to monitoring.

Our security solutions are further strengthened by foot patrols, ensuring a visible presence in areas where technology alone may not be enough. Our officers are trained in counter-terrorism measures, helping to safeguard public spaces against emerging threats.

As part of our commitment to safety, Specialist Security is also preparing for the implementation of Martyn’s Law, which aims to enhance security in public venues in response to the evolving threat of terrorism. Our staff are equipped with the necessary training and protocols to meet these new requirements and keep public spaces as safe as possible.
